Wild Horse - Equus Tooth Fossil Talisman
Equus was an ancestor of modern day horses, zebras and donkeys and lived during the Pleistocene Ice Age Era, which is typically defined as the time period that began about 2.6 million years ago and lasted until about 11,700 years ago when glaciers covered huge parts of the planet Earth. This Prehistoric Ice Age Horse is thought to have been very similar in appearance to the horses of Mongolia, today, wooly and able to withstand incredibly cold temperatures. This tooth is estimated to be roughly 250,000 years old.
Horse energy can help one connect with one's inner strength, power and driving force in life. A typical symbolism for the horse is one of an animal representing freedom, physical strength, vitality, and the psychological or emotional ability to go on in life despite challenges or obstacles. We are reminded to carry our burdens with dignity and pride, and to enjoy all of our experiences in this life.
Revered by many cultures for centuries, Fossils, because of their age, are often used as talismans for protection and long life. They are links to the past and, as such, can be helpful for past-life visualisation, astral travel and increased knowledge of ancient ways. Fossils are associated with the earth element, which can heighten your intuition, especially when learning about crystals. Fossils can teach us to be aware of the cycle of life and to embrace change with a feeling of security.
